Tropical Smoothies
There are certain recipes that become less of a recipe and more of a rhythm.
This is one of those for me lately.
Fresh pineapple, banana and lime blended into something simple, bright and refreshing.
I usually make 3-4 at once and keep them in the fridge for the next few days.
The kind of thing that helps create a little more steadiness during the week.
Blended in my @vitamixaunz.
Serves
1 smoothie
Ingredients
1 cup pineapple
½ banana
1 cup almond milk
Squeeze of lime
Optional:
Protein powder
Maca powder
Method
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour into jars or bottles and store in the fridge for a few days.
You can also use frozen pineapple or banana if you prefer a thicker smoothie.
Notes
I usually make 3–4 at a time for easy grab-and-go breakfasts or snacks.
You can adjust the consistency with extra almond milk if needed.
Adding protein powder makes them more filling, especially for busy mornings.
Mindful Moment
I think nourishment is often less about perfection and more about removing unnecessary barriers.
Having something already prepared in the fridge does not mean every day suddenly becomes organised or effortless. But it does create small moments of ease.
And sometimes that is enough to shift the tone of a day slightly.
